Properties and uses

Colourless,transparent oily liquid,b.p.340℃,viscosity 12~22 c.p.(20℃),refractive index 1.4895~1.4926(25℃).

Good compatibility with most of ethylenic and cellulosic resins. Used for main plasticizer for cellulosic resins and polyvinyl chloride,good solvent potency and good compatibility,fine softening property,but less aging-duration and anti-wanter-extraction.

Also used as plasticizer for polyvinyl acetate,alkyd resins,ethyl cellulose and rubbers.
